4.5" CLR Clamp Block doesn't quite line up...

Been putting together an M600 HD kit.  I purchased a 1.5"x4.5" CLR die and die rollers to begin with, with an air actuated cylinder from RogueFab.  Got it put together and getting a test bend setup but the clamp block doesn't quite line up with the 4.5" holes.  See pictures.

My tube is 1.5"OD

The cylinder is fully pushed in, but seems like it needs to go in just a bit further to line up.  Initially I only had the cylinder back in as far as the springs would pull it, which let me put the clamp block in the 6"CLR holes just fine, so the sides are lined up just fine.  When I noticed I was in the wrong clamp block hole, I pushed the cylinder all the way in, but didn't quite get close enough to push the pin through.

I have pictures, but am not seeing how to include them in this post.

What am I missing on this?

Thanks,

Doug

Just click the "My Media" link right below the box your typing text in click "Add Files" find the photo on your computer then click the "insert Into post" button.

I also just inserted the 4.5 x 1.5 and was curios since it visually doesn't line up with the die and roller  but dont have a piece of DOM to try the 1.5 die yet, will know Tuesday

Your W block is likely too far down the rod. It is described in the "troubleshooting" section of your instructions. There is a few other points in there as possibilities as well. That should solve your problem. Let us know either way please!

Also, here is a screenshot of where the buttons/methods for attaching photos are:

Thanks for the Sunday replies guys.

Not the W block, it is hard up against the back of the HD adapter on the end of the cylinder.  Cylinder is all the way in.  Unless I'm missing something obvious of course.  The holes are out of alignment by 1/4" give or take.

FWIW, I don't have the option for "My Media" or to add files.  I've tried it in both Chrome and Edge.  The screen shot above literally doesn't show those options on my screen.  I get the end of the text box and then "Preview Revisions and Save Draft"

I sent the photo's to sales@roguefab.com so somebody might see them and tie them back to this forum post until such time as I can add a picture.

Regards,

Doug

After the last post, the box now has the options.  Oh well, pictures...

First pic shows the mis-alignment.

Second pic shows the overall machine and pin placements.

Third shows the end of the ram and W block placement.

Thanks,

Doug

Its almost like the HD extension on the ram makes it too long.  Maybe I missed something on that installation.  The bolt goes through just fine.  I didn't even try this alignment before putting that adapter on the end of the ram.

Thank you Josh!

I had the wrong HD adapter for the RAM that I had.  Issue resolved and great service to get it resolved.

Thanks all,

Doug

Interesting!

How did you fix it? Did Josh send you new parts?

I am running the same setup, and I don't want to get the same issue.

I got the correct part for my RAM (NorthernTool style) from RogueFab.  They stock it all and it was very well handled.  Just pay attention to getting any RAM related parts matched up to what you have.
