Hi
When bending i get a 5-10 degree twist to one side when doing 2 bends. I have tried using the digital guages and compensating for it on the second bend with mixed success.
If i bend a roll bar main hoop and lay flat on the floor one end will be 6+ inches in the air.
bending 1.5and 1.75 tube mostly, i have the die spacers and the roller dies. Any help would be appreciated on diagnosing and fixing or reducing the amount of twist.

Put a tube in the machine and put 1 to 2 degrees of bend in it. Measure the space between the ram and the uprights (the gap is around 1/2"). What are your two measurements? This MUST be done while bending.
Harbor Freight cast the ram bases off by several degrees for a few years. When they remade the tooling for production wear around early 2020 the problem went away. Old stock remains and the problem with alignment is lurking in the old inventory. It mostly affects orange (not red) rams.
Also flip your bender over. Measure with the tail of a caliper how far the uprights are in the slots from the base plate. They should be identical. If they are different, none of the holes will be aligned. The amount they are off will dictate how much spiral you bend.
Let us know the measurements or if you need more info to get them please.
I will check those things out, thanks

There's about a 50% chance it has that casting alignment defect if it's from that era.
@joe I have measured the uprights in the slots from the base plate. The maximum difference side to side is 0.020"
I will hopefully bend a tube this weekend
i replaced the HF cylinder and the problem is fixed!
