63’ Chevy II

We took in a stock Chevy II project. It rolled in stock and rolled out with arm front end, 4-link rear suspension, and a 8.50 sportsman cage.

Beautiful! Welds look clean. I like where you continued the square tube back half into the cage with a piece of round tube. Makes the switch look more integrated 🙂

Is this a mild steel build? 1 5/8 .120? Or did you use some .083 Docol or 4130?

413o 1-5 removed link It seems as a trend has developed that everyone has become weight conscious. I haven’t done a mild steel cage in quite awhile.
